On April 29, 2005, the CSRC announced the launch of the pilot work of the split share structure reform. The purpose of the split share structure reform is to make all the shares of listed companies tradable and increase the liquidity of the market. Theoretically, the split share structure reform is conducive to commercial banks to introduce market-oriented incentive and restraint mechanisms, form a good self-restraint mechanism and effective external supervision mechanism, and further improve the corporate governance structure.
